This has been very exciting for us. Having followed principals that we learned in Financial Peace University, we saved for six months to buy a truck that could tow a pony to various Pony Club Events. Once we had saved, Cindy searched for a good bargain on Craig's list and we found a couple selling their Sequoia. They had kept it in good condition, and were asking a fair price based on Kelly Blue Book. We were able to negotiate a win-win. So, those FPU episodes after dumping debt really do work!

WASHINGTON, January 4,2009(AP) -- Was it a walk? LeBron James wants the NBA to take a closer look at what he calls his "crab dribble.'' The move, James insists, does not constitute traveling. A referee disagreed Sunday. James was whistled for taking an extra step while driving for a potential tying layup with 2.3 seconds left, and his Cleveland Cavaliers lost 80-77 to the Eastern Conference-worst Washington Wizards despite wiping out a 16-point deficit in the fourth quarter. "Bad call,'' said James, who compiled 30 points, 10 assists and six rebounds. "We all make mistakes, and I think I got the wrong end of the bargain. I watched it 10 times after the game, and it was clearly a good play.'' Without raising his voice or getting particularly animated, James dissected the game's key sequence in extensive detail - even pointing out that he felt he was fouled as he released the shot, which went in. His biggest beef, though, was with what he considered a misunderstanding of the way he moved to the basket. "You have your trademark play, and that's one of my plays. It kind of looks like a travel because it's slow, and it's kind of a high-step, but it's a one-two just as fluent as any other one-two in this league. I got the wrong end of it, but I think they need to look at it - and they need to understand that's not a travel,'' James said. "It's a perfectly legal play, something I've always done.'' Indeed, Washington's Caron Butler - who scored 19 points and guarded James most of the game, including on that closing play - remembers that same move, without an official's call, from one of the teams' recent playoff meetings. "I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it,'' Butler said about what happened Sunday. "That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move, good officiating, and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.''' That was hardly the only contentious moment in a game between teams that faced each other the past three postseasons, with Cleveland winning every series. There was some trash talk between James and injured Wizards guard DeShawn Stevenson, who was out with a bad back and sat on the sideline in a burgundy velvet jacket and bow tie. There was the homemade sign held by a Wizards fan that showed James with a blue tear on his cheek and "Crybaby'' written in place of "Cavaliers'' on his white headband and blue shirt. Oh, and there was the ejection of Cavaliers coach Mike Brown, who ran nearly the length of the court to protest an offensive foul call against James with about 6 1/2 minutes left. The Cavs were down 70-54 early in the fourth quarter, then 71-58 after Butler made one of two technical free throws when Brown was tossed for all his pointing and yelling. With assistant coach John Kuester running the team after Brown was restrained and led off the court, the Cavs chipped away until James' drive with 1:01 left tied it at 77-all. "We're not saying we want Mike Brown to get thrown out if we're flat or not making shots. We're not saying that,'' James said. "But sometimes you need a coach to do something, and that definitely fired us up.'' None of his teammates scored more than 13 points, the Cavaliers shot 39 percent for the game and they were held to their lowest point total this season. At 77-77, Cleveland's Delonte West missed a 3-point attempt, and Dominic McGuire grabbed the rebound while being scratched below the left eye by James, drawing some blood. The Wizards called timeout and set up Antawn Jamison's baseline jumper with 10.5 seconds left "That just gave us a sigh of relief,'' Butler said. Jamison led Washington with 26 points and 13 rebounds, while McGuire had 10 points and 10 rebounds for his first NBA double-double. Cleveland's next possession ended with James' travel, and Butler added a free throw for the final margin. James fell into the courtside seats while trying a desperation 3-point attempt at the buzzer. How surprising is this result? The Central Division-leading Cavaliers (27-6) are neck-and-neck with the reigning NBA champion Boston Celtics for the best record in the East, while the Wizards (7-25) aren't even close to climbing out of last place. No other club in the conference has fewer than 12 victories. And yet when these teams last played, on national TV on Dec. 25, Washington led by seven with a little more than 1 1/2 minutes left before Cleveland closed with an 11-0 run to win. "I was pulling for the guys to pull it through, to find a way to kind of sneak this one by them like we did the last game,'' Brown said, "but it didn't happen.'' It did not, and the Wizards noted what interim coach Ed Tapscott had written in red on the grease board in their locker room: "REDEMPTION.'' Made by NBA TV.

ZHANG: It was shopping madness in Japan today. Thousands of shoppers lined up in front of department and retail stores across the country to get their hands on the traditional New Year special grab bags called "Lucky Bags." STORY: Shoppers rushed inside the Mitsukoshi department store in the Ginza shopping district in Tokyo where store workers, dressed as traditional Japanese New Year characters such as lions and god of good fortunes, encouraged the buying frenzy. Store representatives estimated over 20,000 "Lucky Bags" were snapped up by eager shoppers. The popular bags are priced between 10 thousand yen ( $100 USD) and 30 thousand yen ($300 USD) and are often filled with fashion items for a substantial discount. [Yukiko Yamanashi, Businesswoman]: "Lucky bags are such a huge bargain, I don't even know why some people aren't buying it! Sometimes you can buy clothes worth a 100 thousand yen or $1000 U.S. dollars for just 10 thousand yen or $100 U.S. dollars and everything from coats to shirts are included in the bag." Still, many others sought to banish depressing thoughts of recession. [Eiichi Kakegawa, Businessman]: "Though the economy is worsening, I wanted to buy some lucky bags because it is sold at a discounted price. I also wanted to get some luck in this recession." Bags are completely sealed and most stores do not say what is included in their lucky bags. [Hisayo Kuwabara, Lucky Bag Buyer]: "There's this excitement before you open your bag, then comes the surprise and some degree of disappointment, but most of the time I'm happy with what I got." [Takashi Masuko, Lucky Bags Operation Dir.]: "People tend to buy more Lucky Bags during recession. We've been preparing for this day since last August and since we were expecting some recession ahead, we changed the volume and items of our lucky bags to better satisfy our customers at times like this." Economic signs ahead are not looking all that prosperous. Several companies have cut their outlooks as they expect another gloomy year. And the Japanese government has also warned its people they will face an "unprecedented crisis."

http://www.balconytv.co.uk 03/01/09 PRESENTED BY LAYLA ANNA-LEE Hello, I'm Paddy, and I write pop songs and love songs. I like a good melody and acapella breakdowns, and like to think I sing from the heart and all that. After many years and many guitar-based bands (including the semi-legendary goth-punk outfit 3 Chords) and acoustic guitar based solo work, I've finally settled on piano-led indie-pop. I still play guitar and some of my songs feature guitar solos, but most of the songs are led by the piano. I live in Chessington (basically Kingston) but go to Exeter University, where I study for six hours a week, handing in poems and stories which I write anyway as homework. This is also fun. I have a poetry myspace too if you're that way inclined, why not have a look? This means you can normally see me around Kingston (New Slang/New Noise/Banquet Records etc) in the Holidays and Exeter (The Cavern etc) during term time. Do say hello. I'm up for playing anywhere though and love to travel. My Demo EP, 'Days of Summer' is now available! Although the songs are demos, they're very good quality as they were recorded by Dan Halliday, who is a massive deal. Click here or on the link below to visit my online shop, where you can buy the CD for the bargain price of £2. It's got four killer tracks on it, plus you get a free badge and sticker. http://www.myspace.com/paddyjohnstonsloveexplosion Tune in again tomorrow!

Ryan goes to Brett's apartment and tells her the heat's back on. He called about six different guys in Chicago trying to get somebody to come down, and all of a sudden the pipes started hissing and banging. Ryan calls it a Christmas miracle. Brett tells Ryan to do himself a favor and ask Santa Claus for a new boiler for Christmas because this heat is not going to last. Ryan tells Brett she's a cynic. Brett retorts that Ryan acts like he's doing her a favor and points out that her lease includes heat. Ryan tells her not to worry about it because someone will probably be dropping a bill off any minute. Brett smiles and tells Ryan he'll be getting the bill sooner than he thinks because she fixed the boiler and it's going to cost him, and then she slams her front door in his face. Ryan then spends the next few minutes sitting on the floor in front of Brett's, knocking on his front door and telling her he's not going anywhere and to at least let him say "thank you." Is that too much to ask? Brett opens her front door, and Ryan, who was leaning his back against the door, falls across her threshold. Brett tells Ryan she can thank him as he gets to his feet and asks him how a month's free rent sounds. Ryan asks if that's on top of her bill. Brett says she thought he was grateful. Ryan says he is. Brett tells him then she accepts his thanks, says good night, and starts to close the door again, but Ryan braces his hand against it to stop it from closing and asks Brett how she learned to fix things like that. Brett replies that her dad taught her, and she worked her way up from carburetors. Ryan asks what's next, nuclear reactors? Brett asks if they have a deal about the rent. Ryan asks if Brett's father taught her how to bargain too, and she says no, she picked that up on her own. Ryan agrees to the deal and puts out his hand to shake on it, but Brett slaps a piece of paper and a pen into his palm and tells him to sign it. Ryan signs the contract, then tells Brett about the tree trimming party going on in the courtyard and invites her to come. Brett tells him she's busy working, because having to fix Ryan's boiler has her way behind. Ryan asks if she has any concept of fun. Brett says, "'Fraid not," and shuts the door in his face again. Ryan calls through the door that it may have warmed up inside, but Brett's still a cold-hearted... Brett interrupts him to tell him, "Watch it...landlord." Ryan and Brett then each walk away intrigued by the other. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

PLZ READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE WATCHING A few weeks after countless training with the curse mark Sasuke has finally mastered it with Jiraiya. Now a few days after Sasuke, Neji, Kiba, and Jiraiya were sent to go see Tsunade. When they entered the Hokage Room they saw a serious face on Tsunade. They knew that this was a big mission. Tsunade: Well, I might as well tell you all your mission. A few weeks ago we sent Itachi too The Snake Village to see what Orochimaru has been planning. Well he was supposed to come back in about a week, but he still hasnt come back. We think he might have been captured, so we want too see if you guys can rescue him or atleast find out if hes dead or has escaped. You 4 will be also teaming up with the Sand Ninjas. Their names are Garra, Kankuro, Temari, and their leader Baki. You will meet them at the main gate. They will be helping you both on this mission. We hope this mission goes well. Are you all ready? Sasuke, Kiba, Neji, Jiraiya: Yes Tsunade: Then spread out!! Then they jumped out of the Hokage Room and into the Village. There they saw the main gate and 4 Sand Ninjas looking at them. Sasuke: So you guys are the Sand Ninjas? Kankuro: What does that mean? You saying we look like weaklings. Sasuke: No, I just thought.um nevermind. Garra: You must be Sasuke Uchiha. Hey guys watsup so here's my first ever series featuring the Jonas Brothers it might start off slowly but I promise you it will be great. Alright so Here's Chapter 26 of Lakeview High.... ~*CHARACTER LINE-UP!*~ "The Rats" Cam Gigandet as "Scar" Nick Jonas as "Red" Rafi Gavron as "Scotch" Shia Labeouf as "Ace" "Other important Characters" Adriana Lima as Hayleigh Vanderholt Sean Faris as Abram Vanderholt Margarita Levieva as Stephanie Caldwell Kevin Jonas as Kevin Jonas Pierce Bronsan as Jack Vanderholt Joe Jonas as Joe Jonas "New Characters" Amber Heard as Becca Miller Hayden Panettiere as Sydney Brian Jeremy Sumpter as Morgan Hill ---------------------------------- The next day at school was going well, Scar followed out with my request and tried to make the best of it but I couldn't help but the back to the time we were in the hospital how kissed. She could still feel it, every now and then she would try to distance herself from her group to hang out with Scar. She'd definitly fallen for him but she couldn't let the others know not by chance. She wanted to be around him now, her life seemed dull without him. She knew everyone was worried about how she was acting but they suspected that her recent injury caused her to backlash. So they tried to treat her as normally as possible. When lunch began she was still stuck in class trying to stuff her books in her bag which seemed nearly impossible without her other hand. The teacher came over and helped her with everything and she hurried out, the halls were buzzing with people she tried to pay attention during everything but she couldn't manage. She bumped into someone and fell to the floor. It was a good thing she didn't fall down the steps causing more injury to herself. She sighed to herself, how many times was she going to bump into people. She suddenly felt the surge of pain go through her body but she held back the scream she ever so wanted to let out. ???- "Hey, Hayleigh I didn't see you there. Are you okay?" A familair voice called out to me. She looked up and saw those brown eyes, that smile, and that curly head of his. Hayleigh- "Hi Red, It's my fault I should really watch where I'm going soemtime, otherwise I'm okay." She lied, the pain still radiating in her. Red- "Oh.." He smiled then sat next to her. "So, I heard you made Scar dress up like a girl. I'm suprised he actually listened to you. I mean he's a pretty stubborn guy." He said truthfully, then looked at me with a slight grin. She couldn't help but smile back. Hayleigh- "Yea, it's true. It wasn't actually that hard to make him do it I mean he is pretty hard to bargain with." He laughed. Red- "What did you do? Kiss him?" He laughed to himself more than to Hayleigh. She laughed nervously. Hayleigh- "Ew! I would never do that!" She said while pushing him playfully. he smiled then looked at her. Red- "You're a pretty cool Hayleigh. You're intelligent, funny, confident, pretty, beautiful, stunning-" He looked at her admiredly Hayleigh- "Okay thanks Red I think you're pretty cute." His face dropped. Red- "Cute?" Hayleigh- "Yeah." Red- "Oh." He sighed it was silent for awhile then his energy returned. "Hey I was jst wondering Hayleigh if you.." She immediately stopped him. "No, Red I don't think we should I mean you're a cool guy but I just think we should stay friends." He looked at me bewildered and half hurt. Red- "What are you talking about?" Hayleigh- "I thought....." Red- "You thought I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend?" Hayleigh- "Yeah, well after what you said about me.." Red- "And what you said about me, I'm I really just cute?" She turned to him, how could she explain this to him delicately. She sighed trying to think of something, he waited patiently. Hayleigh- "Well, you're in a way that I would consider brother cute, not neccessarily the whole sexy thing but don't get me wrong you're a pretty good looking guy." He smiled at her but then it faded. Red- "Stephanie always referred to me as hot or pinchibly cute." He turned to me. "Your brother is a lucky guy." He sighed. She had no idea that he missed Stephanie still, she moved closer to him to the point where their arms were touching.
